OK folks, something of dire importance…
We've been talking and would like to know whether you think the bacon here in UK is better than that in Oz.
The debate rages......
Amanda: Yes, it's better in UK.
Loughlin: I thought people would have been more enthusiastic about the bacon debate, it's a pretty important subject!
Lieu: UK - it's proper bacon!! It's SOOOOO obvious
Vic: I like it more in oz, largely because you don't get that white crap on it in Australia. However, I do admire the variety and I am yet to taste proper (i.e. non tesco or sainsbury) bacon so my view may change ... for the moment, bring on the good ol' middle bacon rashers from balwyn safeway..
DavidH: No contest... the watery rubbish they sell here is not a patch on the meaty, pig-flavoured goodness we get in Oz.
AndrewS: Standard bacon – better in Australia. Proper Bacon – better in UK.
