On Sun, Kendra and I went to the The 11th Annual Sacred Heart Mission Community Cup at Junction Oval in St Kilda. I must admit, I didn't watch much of the game.
Despite the freezing cold it was a great arvo with many (unprepared for the cold) people, kids and dogs out and about. Sarah swears she saw a sheep/goat-like structure out there too!
It was nice to catch up with many of my friends who made it there, and their kids. But then again, some of them behave like 5 yr olds anyway!
The biggest shock was Pete Schmidt and his hair. I've known him since 1st yr uni (1997) and he never had hair (for cycling purposes) and we were shocked in a good way. He love the wind blowing in his hair.
As it was freezing, and late arvo, we were hungry, but there wasn't enough hot chips coming out of the food tent! Also they apparently ran out of beer!
It was all for a good cause and I hope they managed to make lots of money.
