On Fri night, Cynthia organised a dinner for the CSC folk.
We went to I Carusi right on top of Lygon st in Brunswick. I've been there once before and it's got THE BEST PIZZA'S, THE BEST JERRY! It's been rated as one of the best pizza places in Australia.
It's a great place, bit more classy than your avg pizza joint - they have tablecloth's. It's cool restaurant 'Italian' rather than kitch. Tiny and packed out every night, it's like being in Italy.
It could well be my number 1 first-date joint. Relaxed, well lit for a date, unpretentious, cool but nice and the food is impressive. Book for 8.30 so you don't get hussled out for the next ppl waiting for a table.
I highly recommend the salmon pizza, the guiseppe and 'pizza for a friend'. Perfect to share with a friend.
For desert, the Pear and Chocolate or the Calzone.
