Ah the feeling you get when you arrive in NYC. I'll always remember it.
So exciting. After the drama of the airport, stress of the apartment keys and all the tiredness, I think it caught up with me in the form of a cold! So for the past 4/5 days I've been a bit ill.
We crammed into the apartment with Aley and I on the tiny 3/4 bed, Sammy and Donna on the blowup matress. Our first night in NYC began with Dinner at the local thai place in Chelsea (our area). It's a bit of a gay neighbourhood, so we moved from one gay place to another. Interesting......
So many hot guys, all of them gay, its soooo unfair!
The next day Donna and I went to Soho our favourite hood in NYC. We shopped and shopped and walked around. It's so cool here, nice weather, great things to see.
The major problem is communicating! As we all don't have mobiles it's a disaster.
How did ppl live without them!?
I bought a couple of tops from H&M and Old Navy (very original I know) but am very happy with them. *Note to self, send stuff to london*
Soho is buzzing with activity, down evey little street is a cool shop or a cool cafe.
Theres mostly designer stuff there so it's all looking and not much buying. I love the feel of the place and we're finding it hard to get very far without going into every shop. Our feet are soooooo sore.
